I am currently a PhD candidate and tutor in Philosophy at King's College London. I was born in Bath, England and grew up in Somerset and Devon. I attended university at Oxford (BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics), and Cambridge (MPhil in Philosophy). I have been involved in various forms of activism for the last ten years or so, but have never been much of a 'joiner' when it comes to political organisations. However, IOPS is the first organisation that strikes me as sufficiently close to my own conceptions (which I would characterise as libertarian socialist), as well as being open to dissent and disagreement.
