Born in San Diego, California, USA Raised in Shawnee, Oklahoma in the heart of a conservative world, a world in which I was never comfortable, so I shed conservatism for true progressivism. Retired from a 30-year healthcare career as Director of Materials Management for CHI and UHS. The skills I can bring to the organization include ample experience in leadership, my voice and my words; I can write fairly articulately and absolutely love doing so, especially in efforts to point out social inequalities and promoting efforts to eliminate them. I enjoy photography, love and revel in nature. I'm somewhat introverted, therefore a horrible public speaker, but I am fearless and can yell extremely loudly; with or without a bullhorn :-) THE WORLD IS OUR NEIGHBORHOOD
