THE NEXT STAGE OF HUMAN CIVILIZATION +++

While much of the world anticipates disaster and collapse, regenerative farming holds the key to many of today’s environmental and health problems. Climate change, water scarcity, poisoned air, water and soil, malnutrition, chronic disease, food insecurity, and food waste can all be traced back to our modern corporate agrochemical food production, and regenerative farming is designed to address all of this.

Regenerative farming rebuilds soils and sequesters carbon, mitigating or reversing aspects of climate change. Regenerative farming allows carbon to be stored in soils and living plants, increasing food production, while reducing soil erosion and the damaging runoff of destructive toxic pesticides and fertilizers.

Trillions of dollars are spent subsidizing corporate monoliths that are destroying the environment. The agrochemical monocrop industry, we know as modern agriculture, is polluting the soil and water. Introducing GMOs into the ecosystems to produce cheap commodities without understanding the devastating consequences or just not caring. Agrochemical industrial farming systems is killing the land, decarbonizing the soil, destroying forests and releasing more than half of the greenhouse gases civilization has to deal with.

While regenerative agriculture receives limited media attention and even less support from governments pouring money into industries that destroy the planet, subsidizing the poisoning of the planet and all life on it, but it is an integral part of the solution to the world’s problems.

Monbiot is not going to like this! He insists the humans should be down, eating that grass. Here in Montana we have millions of acres being grazed, but as Savory points out, it is HOW they graze that really matters. Partly why we re-introduced wolves, but that may not work in Los Angeles. Then again...
