The Pallet House by I. Z. Nessuno-Raskolnikov

We all love green stuff; right? Another story about stuff; Human stuff. I need more space for my stuff; space for more relics and antiques; space for stuff to member: "Ohh.. I member dat stuff!"; Memorabilia and shrines; decadent western lifestyles. I want less space; I have less stuff; got rid of stuff. I am a fugee; All I need is a clever, tiny space to live happily ever after. A little wooden shed outside the ghetto; solar powered stuff. Ohh.. wait.. I can't afford the land for a shed; I can't afford a Tiny-Zen-Pallet-Manor-House made of rotten boards; ohh.. it's free and it comes with all appliances? No? A cow, 5 goats and a lifetime-supply of genetically engineered uber-corn? That'd be nice. No WIFI?! What about the netflix?! Meh. Panem ET circensis.

"The Pallet House was conceived as a transitional shelter for returning refugees. Yes, This Tiny Home Is Very Cool. But There's Something That Makes It Completely Brilliant."

"The designers created the Pallet House Project because they were inspired by one simple, but unbelievable, fact: 84% of the world's refugees could be housed with a year's supply of recycled American pallets. Just based off of a year and a half year of pallet production in the US alone, 33 million refugees could live in a Pallet House. That's a lot of housing for a LOT of people in need. What makes their design so brilliant is that virtually anyone can build it very cheaply and in less than one day."

"The Pallet House is simply and provides great flexibility in terms of configuration. Each family could build a house based on their needs and size. Since the house is made from spare wooden pallets, it is easy to acquire the materials to build the shelter. Not only that, but the house is very simple. Only basic tools are required to build it. You could add on to the house with found materials, such as plastic sheeting or tarps. The pallet houses can even be upgraded to include insulation, heating and cooling. I-Beam Design provides "IKEA-style assembly instructions" so that anyone can assemble these houses."

You don't need a background in carpentry. For only $75, you can buy a pallet house information kit that includes: pdf plans, sections, elevations, photos, diagrams, renderings and a materials & tools list.

Yeah, the pallet house...just print 50,000 bucks for each person in the world...no obligation, totally free...just give it to them and let them decide whether they will spend 75 bucks to build a pallet house to live in.

Hammers, saws, nails, plastic sheeting and tarps to add on, nice looking sculptures hanging around nice manicured grass, what are they made of, bronze...you know what is needed to make bronze sculptures like that...what about nails and hammers and screws and glue...what kind of glue...yeah, and like how close are they all, and what about maintainence, painting? Varnish? You know to,protec5 from whether...like it’s not cedar is it? What happens once we run out of pallets? Make new pallets for other purposes, likectransporting shit and putting shit on, whatvtill tgey get thrown out or are unusable for initial pallet function, then use then to build houses? Why not just by pass the pallet and just provide wood...but of course, we are using used pallets of which, surely there are only so many in the world, and we can’t just keep cutting down timbre to make pallets...or can we...

Just thinking out loud and writing it down here...

      Let’s write all that again...

Make new pallets for other purposes, like transporting shit and putting shit on, wait till they get thrown out or are unusable for initial pallet function, then use then to build houses? Why not just by pass the pallet and just provide wood...but of course, we are using used pallets of which, surely there are only so many in the world, and we can’t just keep cutting down timber to make pallets...or can we...?
